The Kips Bay Decorator Show House: Room by Room

I was alerted to the following article by the lovely Rauber sisters, Janet and Carolina of Rauber + Rauber Interiors (I interviewed them back here), who were fortunate enough to have been given the incredible opportunity of decorating a room in the coveted Kips Bay Decorator Show House. 21 designers took part all up, and the results are wildly dynamic, to put it mildly! This is the 39th "Annual Decorator Show House", which took up residence in an Upper East Side mansion, 163 East 63rd Street, from April 28 – May 26, 2011. The neo-Federalist style mansion residence boasts unique historic details amongst it's (wait for it) 16 rooms, four stories and 10,000-square-feet. Looking for decorating inspiration? Feast your peepers on this:

Click to read the full article on The New York Times, and click here to view the full slide show. And as always, I'd love to know what you thought! Favourite room? I'll take the Brad Ford room and the Laundry room. Please.
