SALE! 20% off EVERYTHING at tabletonic.com.au

Bits n' bobs: My Instagram week in review

Had a photoshoot at the Table Tonic Shop on Monday! Wore makeup! Changed outfits! Had fun! Read more here.

Bought a new Clare Vivier "pouchette". Something to chuck keys/wallet/phone in, plus a snazzy pm clutch for my (*ahem) buzzing night life*. And leopard print? Eternally chic. PS The Clare Vivier blog is so cool. I have been trawling back through the archives for days. Check it out. Great bit-of-everything read.

Got me a new Macbook Air for the shop! When Apple products are 10% off at Dick Smith? You just buy them. If you can. I had put off buying a second laptop for the shop, so this was a mega-dose of happiness for my finances. Except for the bit where they so cleverly talk you into the $300 Apple Care Warranty because MacBook Airs have "no moving parts" and are a b*tch to fix (hi Tim).

New Baby Blanket sweetness just landed at the TT shop (80cm square), $299. Pure wool. One only. So special.

Come follow me on Instagram (2000 people can't be wrong!). PS My username is tabletonic.

Shopped & blogged: Peep My Style

One of my faaaavourite blogs (and bonus points for being Australian!) is Peep My Style, and I had the pleasure of meeting it's author last week. Thank you Claudia for blogging about your Table Tonic shop visit - and taking such cool photos (click here for the full post!)!

Unofficial "Shop Mascot" Audrey strikes a pose.

PS The Table Tonic shop will be closed this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (as well as Sunday and Monday as per usual). We're off for our annual pilgrimage to the Blue Mountains (yeee-harrr!). We're taking both kids this time (heaven help us - they're "on fire" at the moment?!?). And lots of red wine. And I am positively giddy at the thought of Leura Garage (OMG that strawberry, Nutella & Ricotta Calzone) and the Red Door Cafe (hello pesto mushrooms on polenta for breakfast!). Detox will resume on departure. Maybe.

PS Don't forget, you can always shop Table Tonic online! Regular TT shop opening hours will resume next week: Tues-Sat, 10am-4pm. See you soon Tonic-ettes!

Sydney's Super Stylists shop at Table Tonic!

I've heard some very cool things from my Table Tonic shop customers this week. One customer was in her hotel pool in Bali last week and got chatting to another Aussie (from Woolooware in Sydney's South) who told her about the new TT shop! Another customer from Whale Beach was referred by her daughter - a stylist living/working in New York! And a third customer, who has recently had a baby, told me "Avalon is abuzz with Table Tonic! All my friends said as soon as you leave the house you have to visit!". Then there were the visits from this stylish bunch:

(above) Ex-Real Living mag stylist Mr Jason Grant (who has a beautiful book coming out next March! OMG!). PS My jumper is Trenery (men's XXL).

(above) Sophie Hart of Sophie Hart Styling. Excellent to meet you finally SH! (Sophie has a few TT goodies in her Sydney showroom...)

(above) Real Living mag Stylist Sarah Ellison. Audrey was smitten.

Oh, and the new TT Avalon shop hours are official. Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Closed Sunday/Monday. Swing by when you're next in the area!

Live colourfully: Take Jonathan Adler home TODAY!

Never heard of Jonathan Adler? Allow me to enlighten you (with a bit of help from Wikipedia) and subsequently colour your world: He is a Jewish American designer renowned for his "happy chic" approach to home furnishings and interior design. Adler launched his eponymous line of furniture and accessories in 1993 and began taking interior design clients in 2002. A potter by trade, Adler sold his first designs to Barneys New York in 1993 and opened his first retail store in Manhattan in 1998. His company has since expanded to include 14 retail stores nationwide, a thriving e-commerce site, and a wholesale business boasting over 1,000 locations worldwide. Adhering to the company motto "If your heirs won't fight over it, we won't make it," Adler has developed a unique style that mixes modernist forms with bold colors and "groovy" graphics. Offerings include decorative objects, tabletop collections, bath accessories, bedding, candles, furniture, rugs, pillows, and lighting. Phew. Which bring me to his books:

I recently bought 2 of Jonathan Adler's books, "Happy Chic Colors" and Happy Chic Accessorizing". Less than an hour after I had flicked through them, I was on the phone to the Australian distributor - I had to have them in the Table Tonic Shop!

They are beautiful inside - screaming with colour, pattern and lots of clever tricks and ideas.

And pssssst! You can now buy them online from tabletonic.com.au as well!

Live colourfully, Tonic-ettes!

Obsessing over: These 3 things!

1. Loving Earth Luvju (heart shaped) bars! Okay. Where do I start. These are really good. Really good. They come in two varieties (fruit and nut & chocolate) and seven flavours - admittedly, I've only tried the a.f.a, goji & chia one, but I just ordered another medley of 14 (including all seven flavours!) online here. This one (below) consists of: organic figs, organic activated almonds, organic brazil nut powder, organic goji berries (9%), organic activated chia seeds (7.2%) and organic (wait for it) blue green algae (1%) - a potent superfood. And that's it! Insert smiley face.

2. My Sportsgirl "MJ" pants! Midnight blue sequins, cropped (read: "normal person length"), lined in I-don't-know-what but they are super warm and as comfy as trackies. I kid you not. $149.95 and I bought them on Monday. RUN.

3. Audrey's new doggy bed! Alright, at $199 it's a slightly indulgent doggy bed (and they only come in one size), but Audrey looking the part in her "Natural" Moroccan Leather Pouffe from Table Tonic (click to buy). I left it unfilled and threw a few soft blankies in there and she's loving it sick. Soft and cosy (and, err stylish!) and the perfect shape! Sweet.

WAY too funny not to dedicate a blog post to

Found via today's new (food) blog discovery, I like it in my mouth. Too dingin' funny... Ben & Jerry's, I think you just got yo'self a posterboy.
