PS Did you know that today (March 16th) is ‘National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence’? Life Education, the largest non-government provider of health education in schools, wants to bring light to the issue of bullying as it remains a key concern among parents and carers. A day in the life: 16.12.11

Reading: Home Beautiful, January 2012 issue.

Loving: Not one, but three Table Tonic treasures on page 41 - An Orange Mexican Suzani, an Orange Baby Juju Hat and the Burnt Orange Ikat cushion! Big thanks to my unofficial press agent, Anecdotal Anna for the tip off! And of course thanks to Sami at HB mag.

Eating: Minestrone. Because Sydney has yet to get the "Summer" memo. We are in a perpetual state of "Possible Showers and 22º. Ugh.

Eating: Last night we had "Deconstructed Chicken Tacos". Everybody wins that way, see!

Adoring: If you've ever seen a child sharing a tender moment with a chicken, you'll agree it's a heart-melting moment to treasure. Jasper-Tonic had a day off school yesterday (teacher's strike), and we actually had a lovely day, including lunch with Mr Tonic at my favourite cafe ever.

Drinking: Chlorophyll. A few squirts of this spearmint flavoured liquid chlorophyll goes into every single bottle of water I drink throughout the day. Delicious and nutritious Tonic-ettes! Get it from your health food store.

Wearing: A Scotch and Soda "Mountaineering Bandana" (click to buy). Love it so much I want the blue one too!

Table talk with Louise Bell: "Inside my colourful world"

As you know by now (because I posted about it here), the birthday issue of Ivy and Piper went live a few days back. The I & P girls, Melanie and Elizabeth were kind enough to have me as a contributor this past year, and it's been a mega-blast. So here's this issue's thang: "Inside my Colourful World" (click to read Ivy and Piper, and find me on pages 102-107). That reminds me - There is a lovely quote in the current issue of House Beautiful, along the lines of: "Don't be afraid of colour - You'll be surprised how good it makes you feel". Amen to that!

So I grabbed the new issue of Home Beautiful on Monday. Mr Tonic (of GDB Architecture fame) had a feeling one of the houses he designed was going to be in it, and well, like I need an excuse to buy a magazine!?

So, I kept casually flicking through until a random Suzani on page 82 stopped me in my tracks.
