Right now is one of those moments that reading about, or looking at, anything other than "The Royal Wedding" just feels odd. I never thought I'd be half as glued to the television as this. Enormous congratulations to Catherine Elizabeth and William! So perfect.

I wouldn't call myself a hardcore baker, but I am totally whipping out the dry yeast for these bubbly babies. And with Mother's Day lunch at our place on the 8th? Well. They might just make an appearance! PS Grab the recipe here.

Ever since we moved house, I've been wondering what happened to all my boots from last winter. Like, pulling-my-hair-out wondering. Mr Tonic even (casually) suggested I may have accidentally thrown them out at some stage. Today, Anoushka, home sick with another head cold, casually pointed to the big cane chest I SIT NEXT TO EVERY NIGHT and said: "Mama, what's in there?". I think I almost broke her I hugged her so hard. Ta-daaa! PS I don't need to tell you this isn't all of them, but these are definitely 3 of my faves.

The threads:
I rather love the fact that my parents have a subscription to Delicious magazine (amongst many others!), and I'm actually thinking of subscribing. I found more than a few handfuls of killer recipes in these 3 issues. And the Good Living? Always worth a flick.
The breakfast:
Sauteed field mushrooms, bocconcini and baby spinach on sourdough toast. With a squeeze of lemon. "Get-outta-town" good. Some tobasco would also have been right at home here.
The new online mag:
Yes! Another one! House of Fifty is upon us!
The scent:
You either love Angel or you hate it. I used to hate it. Now? Second-bottle-love it. And always good to buy your fragrance around Mother's Day - gift with purchase time! Hot tip: A 100ml bottle of Angel will set you back 230 clams. A refill (take your old bottle)? Just 150 clams.
The (other) obligatory calories:
Gawd. I feel some chocolate crackle making coming on... PS Just to give you an idea of scale here, THIS IS A SALAD BOWL, PEOPLE!
The coveted:
Sass & Bide "Cast in Bronze" jumper (buy it here or here). *Sigh* I really ought to stop reading fashion blogs... Like Amie's...
The Mr Tonic dinner:
Stuffed Calamari. I know. So simple. 1. Make your favourite cous cous "salad". We added chopped zucchini (sautee it first), chopped parsely, toasted pine nuts and zest of 1 lemon to cooked cous cous. You could substitute rice/quinoa etc. 2. Stuff (cleaned) baby squid hoods with the cous cous, seal each hood with 2 toothpicks and pan fry! 3. Squeeze the juice from the lemon you used for zest over the top and serve.

I love looking at these 2 images together, possibly because of the similarity of their respective "palettes". Besides. It's a fair excuse for some blatant beautiful-ness! And that gallery wall? Bang on.

But let's be honest - it's all about those Whippets. Canine mega-swoon.
The "hack":
Woot! Anoushka's Ikea spice rack bookshelves made it onto the Ikea Hackers website! Read the full post here.
The word:
The coveted:
Can't stop thinking about the Ksubi Heiffer 3 Ankle Boot. Kinda can't help wishing they were suede instead of leather though...
The coming soon:
The coming soon:
Currently shooting some Moroccan Berber rugs for the Table Tonic online store. Watch this space!

Ombre glitter nails. Because why not.
