OMGA I'm a Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female!

Oh my Giddy Aunt (OMGA), I'm a Cosmopolitan Fun Fearless Female! And by golly am I in good company. Every year, Cosmopolitan Magazine holds it's FFF Awards and I would love you to vote for me in the Entrepreneur category. You need to vote in all 11 categories, but it's rather fun playing favourites (however be warned: the Blogger category is mega hard - the choice includes the authors of The Design Files, A Pair & a Spare, The Edit and The Unbearable Lightness of Being Hungry AND MORE!). Like I said, the nominees are a little bit awesome.

The Cosmo Crew have picked their nominees, now help decide Australia's top Fun Fearless Females. Register and vote for your favourite 2012 semi-finalists in the 11 categories for your chance to win a PANDORA Birthstone Ring worth $59. The top three semi-finalists in each category, as voted by you, will go through to the final round.

Shop update: The Royal (window) treatment!

I had a bit of fun with the window at the Table Tonic shop yesterday (this visual merchandising business is fun!). The Union Jack cushions have been called to attention and it's looking and feeling rather Royal! PS The Union Jack cushions were, until recently, our number one seller and I just noticed they've been bumped off the perch by these!

What do you think, you like it? The elephant side tables are $330 each and would have to be one of my favourite new products. I wish I'd seen these when I was redoing Anoushka's "big girl room"...

I bought the console table (buy it here) from the divine girls at Complete Pad (they were so helpful and sweet - Hi Gemma and Rhiannon) along with the gorgeous Elm console in the middle of the shop AND my soon-to-arrive desk chair! And after flicking through Mr Tonic's giant Dulux swatch book, I found thee perfect powdery turquoise to paint it - Dulux "GLIMPSE". We have love in the house.

The Table Tonic retail store is OPEN!

Well, second only to moving house, opening a shop has to be one of the best excuses for neglecting your blog, right (please say yes)? To say May 2012 was one crazy month would be an understatement. But today, Tonic-ettes, the paper has been torn down and the Table Tonic retail store has opened it's door (and it's been a really fun day)!

I've met several blog/instagram/twitter followers and sold some beautiful TT treasures too. I have heard the word "beautiful" a lot. I have received some gorgeous flowers - thank you Vanessa (Hyacinths) and Richard and Karen (Parrot Tulips). And I am so SO happy with how everything has turned out. Feeling truly blessed.

I'm in the arcade with Mark Tuckey, Franks Bar and Tiny Bird - all well worth a visit as well! Please pop in and say hi next time you're in beautiful Avalon. And don't forget, the Table Tonic online store is open 24/7!
